Lieutenant General Avinash Chander Soneja,AVSM**,VSM**(retired) was General Officer Commanding Counter Insurgency Force Rajouri in an active insurgency area. He superannuated on 31 Jan 2012 after being the Provost Marshal of the Army for two years and Director General Operational Logistics for nearly three years. He is MSc, M Phill and MBA and has authored a book titled “Militancy in Kashmir”, An Untold Saga of Counter Insurgency Operations.
