Israel strikes Hamas sites in Gaza over a rocket firing – military

Sat, 11 Sep 2021   |  Reading Time: < 1 minute

JERUSALEM (Reuters) -Israeli fighter jets struck Hamas sites in Gaza in response to rocket firing towards Israel on Friday evening, an Israeli army spokesman said in a twitter post early on Saturday.

Sirens warning of incoming rocket fire sounded near Israel’s border with the Gaza Strip late on Friday, the Israeli military said. The sirens were sounded just hours after police captured two militants from Gaza’s Islamic Jihad group who had escaped from a maximum-security Israeli prison earlier this week. The recent rise in cross-border violence tests a fragile truce that ended fierce fighting in May.

I think Israel should not sit tight and wait for Hamas to strike 1st. Like IAF, they have to go for continuous air strikes till the terrorists are wiped out.

Good job Israel but now, please don’t sit back and wait for the next attack from Hamas before you retaliate again. Keep up a continuous attack on all assets of Hamas till they understand the cost of attacking Israel. Don’t bother about international condemnation because the lives of your soldiers and all your citizens should be more valuable to you than the opinions of international armchair critics.
