General Manoj Pande, PVSM, AVSM, VSM, ADC takes over as the 29th COAS of Indian Army

General Manoj Pande, PVSM, AVSM, VSM, ADC takes over as the 29th #COAS of #IndianArmy from General MM Naravane. Gen Pande is from Corps of Engineers and is the first from the Engineers to assume the highest post of Indian Army. 

General MM Naravane was presented a Ceremonial Guard of Honour at the South Block lawns on the occasion of relinquishing the appointment of the Chief of the Army Staff. General MM Naravane laid a wreath at the National War Memorial (NWM), in a solemn ceremony to honour the Bravehearts, on the day of relinquishing the appointment of the Chief of the Army Staff.
