Kamlesh Kumar Agnihotri is presently a Senior Fellow at the Centre for Joint Warfare Studies (CENJOWS), New Delhi. His specific field of work is on Chinese Defense Forces, particularly the Chinese Navy. Having followed the Chinese economic and military ascendency for 15 years since 2005, he has become quite well versed in China’s international relations and Defence Diplomacy across the Globe. He has worked at the National Maritime Foundation (NMF), New Delhi – a premier think tank affiliated to the Indian Navy – for 5 years, where he contributed a great deal to the informed discourse on matters relating to the Chinese maritime domain. He has authored a book titled “The Strategic Direction of Chinese Navy: Capability and Intent Assessment”, co-edited three books, written chapters in other books and penned research articles in the various Journals.
