Commodore Abhay Kumar Singh (Retd) is currently a Research Fellow at Manohar Parrikar Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses, New Delhi. His research area includes maritime geopolitics and strategic issues in the Indo-Pacific. He has served as Director (Military Affairs) in the Disarmament and International Security Division of the Ministry of External Affairs.
