The recent induction of new government at Afghanistan or should people call it “Islamic state of Afghanistan “is yet a big debate in itself. The nation known as “graveyard of all Regimes” saw the incoming of Russian forces, the so called elite army of USA but the results remained the same for both the opponents of cold war. Pakistan a nation with no backbone may it be the foreign policy , maintaining diplomatic affairs or the press conference organized by puppet government acting as a responsible state but the world knows the veracious face of it.
A country that disregards its own history and calling it being formed in 785 AD in itself shows what its ideology would be. Talib which refers to “Student” is an altogether an organization that took its baby steps in Pakistan and thrived the hardliners by molding the facts and figures and making them move a different way than what other nurturing countries do. But at the end of day that’s what is the true identity of a nation called as Pakistan. For Pakistan the true patriots of Afghanistan are the ones holding AK-47, firing in the sky, terrorizing the nationals,
suicide bombing & what not.
Talking about the new faces in the government, some are very well known to not only the nationals but UN too and on the contrary some of them are into the “ designated list of terrorist “. The model of governance is somewhat inspired by the one followed in Iran, though they claim of conducting elections and choosing a kind of responsible
government.
In the model of Taliban the supreme leader would be called the “Emir “, all the decisions would be taken under the name of
1. Hibatullah Akhundzada – supreme commander of the Taliban in May 2016, and is now leader of the so-called Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, and known for the resistance movement against USSR. More of a religious figure than military.
2. PM Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund – one of the 4 members who founded Taliban in 1994. The PM would be the major power or decision holder in the government called as “ Rehbari Shura” on the contrary he is one of the UN’s designated terrorist. Further adding to this some media outlets also refer him to the lineage of Ahmed shah
Durrani , famous for finding the nation “Afghanistan”.
The PM would be assisted by 2 deputy PM both have great name in world of militancy one obviously under UN’s list of terrorists and other the biggest drug & trafficking dealer, who consumed and own son fell prey to it.
Now the interior minister “ Sirajuddin Haqqani”- the son of the founder Haqqani network , on FBI’s most wanted list that carried out heinous of the activities one can ever think of. The world is in utter chaos what is Afghanistan heading to and by whom , will the designated terrorists be sitting on the same diplomacy table as the convoys sit & discuss about peace and stability in the discussion forums.
China showed its deep interest in the cartography and the minerals present unexploited in the state example Lithium used for batteries , silicon, & other rare earth metals , news outlets also confirm China is willing to recognise Taliban government and inclined to invite Taliban in SCO forum in coming time.
The biggest question of all , what is India’s take in subject, India initiated talks with Taliban in Qatar and as always for now taking a back seat and waiting for its best measures that can be taken to curb any kind of unwanted illegal migration or influx of terrorist in the corridors.
India also chaired BRICS summit and talked about Intra Afghanistan virtual dialogue and came forward to tackle any kind of spread of terrorism in the subcontinent. Adding to this a 2+2 dialogue was hosted between India & Australia to sought out measures for the subject.
For cementing its grip in Afghanistan Taliban is planning an oath taking ceremony on 11th of September, sounds familiar right , yes , it’s the 20th anniversary of the disastrous terror attack in USA known as 9/11 attack in 2001. And recently they have rolled out the invitations to various nations including Pakistan, China India, and USA too.
